Absurdex is a small market of thirteen fictional assets you trade with points that have no real-world value. You start with 10,000 points. Some assets behave normally. Some have rules that punish you, or reward you, or both. It is not a market, not an investment product, and not a game with a goal.

Rules

  • Points cannot be converted to money, crypto, gift cards, or anything of value.
  • Points cannot be transferred between users.
  • All assets are fictional. They do not refer to any real person, company, or event.
  • Prices follow an automated price curve. No order book.
  • No leverage, no shorting, no derivatives.

Accounts

Accounts are anonymous and cookie-based. The first time you visit you are issued a fresh account with 10,000 starting points — no signup needed.

To come back from another device, or after clearing cookies, you need your recovery key. It is shown on the /me page. Save it somewhere safe; there is no email or password fallback by design. Paste it on /me to switch this session to another account. Lost = lost.

Trading & fees

Each ordinary trade pays a 0.3% fee. The fee is taken before the price-curve swap and removed from circulation. Individual assets may waive or replace this fee (see each row's description).

A few assets are not part of the normal buy/sell flow:

  • SACRIFICE — destroy points permanently from /asset/SACRIFICE. Each burn appends a row to the public roster automatically.
  • DEVIL — borrow points from /asset/DEVIL. Repay 2× within 30 days or face full liquidation.
  • INDEX — buy or redeem the equal-weight basket from /asset/INDEX. 0.5% entry load on buy; redemption is fee-free.

The lineup

Thirteen assets, fixed for now. Each has a one-line description on its market row that says exactly what its rule is. Hover the icon to see the same rule in long form. No hidden mechanics, no silent price moves — the spec on the row is the whole spec.

Dormancy

Accounts with no activity for 90 days are archived: their holdings are sold back into the originating markets (each market self-heals) and the resulting points are removed from circulation. Holding any LEGACY shares with a zero points balance keeps you exempt — you have opted into the slow auto-sacrifice contract.

  • No SLA, no recovery. We may take the site down, reset the database, wipe accounts, or change the rules at any time without notice. Lose your recovery key and your account is gone — there is no email or password fallback.
  • As-is. The service is provided without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any loss, frustration, or wasted time arising from use of the site.
  • Fictional only. All assets, descriptions, and pseudo-mechanics are fictional. They do not reference any real person, company, security, or event. Resemblance is incidental.
  • Anonymous play. We do not collect names, email, or any personally identifying information. The account cookie is an opaque random ID used solely to remember which simulated portfolio is yours.
  • Not available everywhere. Absurdex is not offered to, or intended for, users in mainland China, or any jurisdiction where simulated trading sites are restricted.
  • No bots, no abuse. Scripted multi-account play, scraping, or any attempt to disrupt the service may have the offending accounts banned without notice.
